Oppo F7 Diamond Black 128GB variant first sale in India

Oppo F7 Diamond Black vs competition

Oppo phone is the best phone for world
The Oppo F7 has tough competition from the Vivo V9, Redmi Note 5 Pro, and the Xiaomi Mi A1. The Oppo F7 will also have to face the upcoming Xiaomi Mi A2, and the Motorola Moto G6 Plus. The Oppo F7 is currently among the least feature-packed smartphones, as it lacks dual-camera setup and fast charging support, and the device also has a weaker processor compared to the processors of the other smartphones in the same price category.

Oppo F7: Price in India

The Oppo F7 is available in 64GB and 128GB storage option. The 64GB storage variant costs Rs. 21,990, whereas the 128GB storage variant costs Rs. 26,990. The 64Gb storage variant of the device comes with 4GB of RAM, and the 128GB storage variant comes with 6GB of RAM.

The Oppo F7 was launched in India last month, and the company announced that the device would be available in Silver, Solar Red, and Diamond Black colour variant, with the Diamond Black being available only in 128GB storage option. The availability of the Diamond Black colour variant was unknown at the time of launch. Today, the company has revealed that the 128GB Diamond Black colour variant will be available from April 21.
The Diamond Black colour variant of the Oppo F7, as its name suggests, has a diamond pattern on the back with a glossy black finish. The diamond pattern looks more like a shattered glass but with bigger chunks.
At the time of launch, the 128GB storage variant was said to be sold only through select offline Oppo stores. However, according to the new reports, the device will be sold through Flipkart, Amazon, PayTM, and all the offline Oppo stores across India. The 128GB Diamond Black variant of the Oppo F7 costs Rs. 26,990.

Oppo F7: Specifications

The Oppo F7 has a 6.23-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD+ resolution and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The display has a bezel-less design with a notch at the top, similar to the Apple iPhone X. The bezel-less display design gives the Oppo F7 a screen-to-body ratio of 82.5%.
The Oppo F7 features a single 16MP primary camera. It is disappointing to see that Oppo has not equipped the device with dual primary cameras. The 16MP primary camera that the device comes with has phase-detection autofocus and an LED flash. Surprisingly, the Oppo F7, in spite of being so costly, does not feature 4K video recording. The front-facing camera of the device is a 25MP unit that can record Full HD videos.
The Oppo F7 is powered by MediaTek Helio P20 SoC that is paired with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM. Again, it is surprising to see that the Oppo has equipped the device with a mediocre performing chipset. The other devices in the same price category have more powerful processors. The Oppo F7 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo OS that is customised with ColorOS 5.0.
The Oppo F7 packs a 3400mAh battery, and it does not support fast charging, which again is a shame for a smartphone in its price category. Also, the device still uses microUSB port for charging and syncing, while all the newer smartphones are packing USB Type-C port. The Oppo F7 has a fingerprint scanner at the back, which is reportedly fast and accurate.
The Oppo F7 is a dual-SIM device that supports 4G LTE, VoLTE, WiFi b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, and FM Radio. The Oppo F7 has a metal body with glass at the front, and a glossy finish at the back.
