Gujarat installation day  

The Gujarat Foundation Day is celebrated on 1st May . At the time of independence of India , this region was part of the state of Bombay . Separate Gujarat was established on May 1, 1960 . Fifty years of establishment of Maharashtra has been completed. The establishment day of Maharashtra and Gujarat is celebrated on 1st May , when these two states were part of Mumbai. When the proposal for the formation of Maharashtra and Gujarat from Bombay State came, then the then Prime Minister Vijay Rupani
